Design your Fabric Pattern
It’s important to us that you are delighted with your custom printed fabric design. We’re certain you’ll love what we do, but to be sure you understand what you are getting – here’s a quick design overview of how we’ll lay out your image.
Tip:To print a design on colored fabric, add a background color to your design. When the image is tiled to fill the fabric, the fabric will become the color of the background. Ta-Da!
Fabric Layout Design Options
Centered
Your uploaded design will be printed in the center of your fabric order. Note: The image will only appear center once on the fabric.
Standard Repeat
Your design will be repeated to fill the entire area of fabric you have ordered. We will not change the dimensions of your image.
Half Drop
Your design will be repeated with a half-drop up as you move to the right, and we will fill the area of your fabric order. Each step (or tile) to the right is elevated ½ step.
Half Brick
Your design will be repeated in half-steps to the right as you move upward on the fabric. We won’t stop repeating your design until your fabric is completely covered.
Mirrored
Your design will be “flopped” on both the 'X' and 'Y' axis and repeated across the fabric.
Custom Fabric Design file specifications
- 150 dpi minimum
- < 10 MB file size
- jpeg, tiff, png, eps, pdf, ai file formats accepted
Designs should be supplied in the size and colors you want to be printed. Our design team will not alter or resize your design in any way unless you specifically request a helping hand from us.
If your design does not fit evenly into the yardage you've requested, we will evenly space the image to ensure it fits onto your fabric.
